Phil & Ed love interesting games – and this novel-to-game triptych is not the usual run of the mill.
Below is a video of Playing Kafka game play. Sometimes watching a full YouTube game play can be as much fun as playing the game itself.
While Edwin enjoyed playing the game, it quickly became quite frustrating and a little old fashioned in terms of interactivity.

This is a long game development podcast, but this … “game” opened us up to a load of ideas about (and barriers to) interactivity in game development, generally. The difficulty of gamifying novels and written works notwithstanding.

Ed: So we have to just face the fact bullet. We’re going to make a game [Augment Me] that is a quest. With side quests. A game for people in their twenties.
